Be respectful to everyone regardless of their race, class, age, gender, religion, sexuality, etc
Avoid political or religious discussions.
Adult beverages are available at the venue. Please drink responsibly.
Respect the venue. We are guests. The venue has generously invited us to hold backgammon events in their place of business. As such, we need to clean up after ourselves, replace any tables or chairs we may have moved, and demonstrate respect and courtesy to the staff and patrons. This includes keeping noise at a respectful level.
Events will begin at the scheduled time. We cannot make any accommodations for players who are running late.
We expect everyone to follow basic backgammon etiquette. No calling up dice, distracting your opponent or other players, kibitzing, blatant gamesmanship, etc.
We will enforce clock use and will use the most recent USBGF rules for match play and will refer to those rules to settle disputes. Clocks are available for anyone who doesn’t have one.
Be a good ambassador for backgammon. Take your wins and losses with class, welcome new players, and help out where you can.
